Pay-as-You-Go Billing for Copilot Chat: Admins can now set up pay-as-you-go billing for Copilot Chat within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, offering flexibility for non-licensed users.
Copilot in Teams Calls: Starting in May, users can access Copilot during Teams calls without transcription or recording, ensuring privacy while capturing key meeting insights.

Join Teams Meetings with One-Time Passcode (OTP): External attendees without a managed Teams account can now join meetings via a one-time passcode sent directly to their mailbox. This feature enhances meeting security, ensuring only the right external participants are admitted.
Storyline Integrated in Teams:Viva Engage's Storyline feature is now closer than ever to Teams. Leaders can share personalized updates, while employees can celebrate milestones, share experiences, and connect with colleagues—all within Teams workflows.
Admin Control for In-Meeting Chat: Teams Admins can now set policies to control the duration of in-meeting chat. With this feature enabled, chat will only be available while the meeting is active, offering more control over communication during meetings.
Town Hall Concurrent Attendee Increase: Teams Town Halls can now accommodate up to 50,000 concurrent attendees—doubling the previous cap.This expansion enables organizers to reach larger audiences while maintaining event quality and stability. For events exceeding 20,000 attendees, some interactivity features will be disabled, but the event’s core experience remains unaffected.
Teams Queues App: Real-Time Service Level Stats: Teams’ Queues app now includes real-time service level stats, allowing authorized users to monitor performance and adjust staffing as needed to meet service goals.
