Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Microsoft 365 SharePoint Consultant looking to create amazing experiences leveraging Microsoft suite.
We are seeking an experienced senior consultant to build scalable implementations using best practices. You will work closely with our teams to create new solutions and improve existing products and features. You will collaborate with our delivery team to surface common pain points, develop solutions, and evangelize best practices. You will also support, mentor, and help others in the team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering for SharePoint projects, including information architecture, content types, metadata, workflows, and security.
- Design and configure SharePoint solutions that meet the clients' business needs and information / records management objectives.
- Implement and test SharePoint solutions, including migration, integration, customization, and deployment.
- Provide SharePoint and Microsoft 365 support and training to the clients, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation.
- Manage the SharePoint and Microsoft 365 project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, and communication.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the project team, the clients, and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest SharePoint and Microsoft 365 trends, best practices, and technologies.
Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 business analysis and project management, preferably in the information / records management domain.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint features and functionalities, including information architecture, content types, metadata, workflows, security, search, and governance.
- Proficient in SharePoint configuration and customization, including web parts, forms, views, and branding.
- Experience in SharePoint migration, integration, and deployment, using tools such as Purview, and Microsoft 365.
- Certification in SharePoint, information / records management, or project management is an asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to deliver solutions that meet the clients' expectations and requirements.
- Ability to work intuitively, alone or as part of a team environment.
- Excellent client facing experience and communications skills.
- Ability to attain a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability or Secret Security Clearance would be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to client project sites as needed.
